This article addresses the topic of ideologies underlying organized crime using interviews with individuals living in Mafia-affected territories. High school and university students produced narratives that reflected their about crime, which were duly compared endorsed by Mafia members televised interviews. comparison has yielded several similarities, namely presence amoralism, familism, verticalism religious relativism, but, at same time, substantial differences form anti-reductionism, anti-normalism anti-victimism (vis-à-vis reductionism, normalism victimism). The thrust this study is are, to a large extent, shared outsiders areas.
